We are looking for a Software Engineer early in their career to join our Marketplace team and help shape the next generation of our student-focused platform.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the delivery of our next-generation marketplace product.
Build and release impactful features in collaboration with product managers and designers.
Partner with senior engineers to create scalable, maintainable services.
Support system reliability through monitoring, incident response, and high-availability practices.
Apply pragmatic engineering decisions that balance user needs with business goals.

Must-haves

Working knowledge of C# and .NET.
Understanding of cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code, ideally AWS.
Familiarity with unit testing and both SQL and NoSQL data-storage practices.
Interest in building stable, scalable, secure, and observable services.
Comfort with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Clear communication and collaboration abilities.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

Experience with pair programming, code reviews, and writing maintainable code.
Curiosity about aligning technical work with commercial outcomes.
