By centralizing infrastructure, we empower teams to bypass the complexities of command line interfaces and custom data pipelines, allowing them to focus entirely on scientific breakthroughs. The role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our ambitious, high-velocity team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role based in the United States. You will work in an environment that prizes high ownership, where every engineer contributes to the entire product stack without artificial silos between frontend, backend, or infrastructure roles.

Core responsibilities

• Take full ownership of features from the initial requirement discovery and design phases through to implementation, testing, and long-term maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with our design, product, and customer success teams to build intuitive, scalable tools that solve real-world bioinformatics challenges.
• Maintain high code quality through rigorous peer reviews, static typing, and a focus on building simple, robust systems that prioritize self-documentation.

Skills and experience

We value engineers who demonstrate an in-depth understanding of complex technical systems and a genuine curiosity to learn. While you do not need prior experience in every area we touch, you should be comfortable working across the following stack:

• Languages: Proficiency in TypeScript for frontend development and Python for backend systems.
• Data & Infrastructure: Deep familiarity with PostgreSQL, including transaction isolation and locking, as well as experience with Kubernetes and cloud environments.
• Frontend: Strong experience with React and modern UI development patterns.
• Systems: A solid grasp of distributed systems, Linux, Docker, and containerization concepts.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $160,000 to $260,000 USD, alongside a significant equity grant. Our benefits package is designed to support your health, professional growth, and well-being:
