Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role based in our Leicester City Centre head office, where you will spend four days in the office and one day working remotely. We are looking for someone with at least four years of experience who is passionate about writing professional, high-quality code in a fast-paced environment.
Your impact
- Take ownership of the software development lifecycle by writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code while actively participating in system design and architecture.
- Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that solve complex problems for our users.
- Ensure the long-term health of our applications by implementing rigorous testing, maintaining existing software, and documenting your work clearly.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you should be a dedicated professional who is comfortable working in an Agile environment. We value adaptability and a strong desire to keep learning as our technology stack evolves.
- Technical proficiency with React, Redux, AngularJS, TypeScript, Node.js, Webpack, and PHP.
- A deep understanding of front-end technologies, security compliance, accessibility, and object-oriented PHP programming.
- Experience with Git version control and a solid grasp of scalable application design, including user authentication and database management.
- At least four years of professional development experience, including production-level PHP work and cross-browser performance optimization.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide technical direction, manage project priorities, and foster team alignment.
- Fluency in English.
