What is this role?

We are searching for a Software Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. This is a mid-level position based in Canada, and we operate on a hybrid work model. You will be a key contributor to our innovative platform, working alongside a talented group of engineers to build and refine our core technology.

What will you do?

• Collaborate within a small, fast-paced agile development team to build essential components of the Sonrai Cloud Platform.
• Take ownership of the implementation, delivery, and testing of critical platform elements.
• Share your unique perspective and ideas as we continue to evolve our cloud architecture.

What makes you a great fit?

To thrive in this role, you should be comfortable working in English and possess a strong technical background. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience with Java programming.
• At least 2 years of experience working within an Agile environment and using Linux or Bash.
• At least 1 year of experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience building microservices and designing systems that are highly resilient and available.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A solid understanding of secure coding practices and an enthusiastic attitude toward working in a dynamic, fun environment.

While not required, we would love to see experience with Go, Identity and Access Management systems, vulnerability management, or relevant cloud certifications.
