Our goal is to save administrative time while fostering a more engaging experience for employees involved in the hiring process. We are currently searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and help us scale our product as we continue to grow.
Key outcomes
- Design and build robust applications using core AWS services like DynamoDB, Lambda, EC2, and API Gateway.
- Develop high-quality code utilizing JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to establish and maintain industry best practices.
- Integrate back-end processing with various RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Construct reliable, scalable backend services capable of managing significant user traffic.
- Optimize application performance through the effective implementation of serverless architecture.
- Identify and resolve complex technical challenges within our AWS infrastructure.
- Maintain a deep understanding of evolving AWS developments and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience, with a primary focus on AWS environments.
- Technical proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and React.
- Hands-on experience with AWS tools including DynamoDB, Lambda, EC2, and API Gateway.
- A comprehensive understanding of serverless architecture and established AWS best practices.
- Proven ability to build and consume RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- The ability to thrive in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of a SaaS startup.
- Fluency in English.
Compensation
The base salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $120,000, depending on your specific experience and qualifications.
