Software Engineer at Celestia

Our technology allows developers to deploy their own blockchains without the burden of building a new consensus layer from scratch, resulting in systems that are secure, scalable, and sovereign. We operate as a remote-first, distributed team where English is our primary language, and we are looking for a self-motivated engineer to help us push the boundaries of what is possible in the web3 space.

What you'll be doing

• You will take full ownership of specific components within the Celestia Node codebase.
• You will write clean, well-tested, and thoroughly documented code while actively participating in technical discussions and code reviews.
• You will bridge the gap between technical specifications and real-world implementation, while also assisting our users with debugging and support.

What you'll bring

• You have at least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer and possess a deep understanding of technical architecture and software principles.
• You are highly proficient in Golang and have a proven track record of contributing to or maintaining open source projects.
• You are a strong communicator who excels at technical writing, ensuring that the code you build is maintainable and easy for others to understand.
• You have a genuine passion for modular blockchain technology and web3, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where shipping high-quality code is the priority.
