Welcome to Grover, where we are changing how the world interacts with technology. We offer a sustainable, flexible subscription model that lets people rent the latest devices without the burden of ownership. Since our founding, we have circulated over 1.2 million devices and achieved unicorn status, all while preventing hundreds of tons of e-waste. We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team in Germany and help us scale our impact even further.
What you'll be doing
- You will design and maintain high-performance web applications using React, Node.js, and related modern technologies.
- You will work alongside our product and design teams to build seamless user interfaces and improve the overall customer journey.
- You will develop and support robust APIs using GraphQL and Postgres while ensuring our infrastructure remains scalable through Kubernetes.
What you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you should have a solid foundation in software engineering and a passion for building user-centric products. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least two years of professional experience developing web applications with React and Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies including TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with backend development, database management, and ORM frameworks.
- A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with agile workflows, version control systems like Git, and automated testing frameworks.
What you'll get
We value your well-being and professional growth as much as your technical contributions. You can look forward to the following benefits:
- A hybrid work environment that offers flexibility for your daily life.
- A dedicated learning budget to support your professional development and skill acquisition.
- Access to a mental wellness budget to help you prioritize your health and balance.
