Software Engineer at Vooma

We are building the future of logistics technology and are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our founding team. As one of our first 20 employees, you will have a direct hand in shaping our company culture and technical direction from the ground up. We operate in the fintech and automation space, creating tools that solve complex real-world problems. What is this role?

This is a full-time, senior-level position based on-site in San Francisco, California. You will be a core member of our engineering team, taking on significant responsibility as we scale our operations and product offerings. We are looking for someone who is ready to dive into the ambiguity of a seed-stage company and help us build an enduring business.

What will you do?

• Design and implement robust automation technology, including the data and processing infrastructure necessary to support our growing customer base.
• Collaborate directly with logistics clients to understand their operational challenges and build the tools that will define their future workflows.
• Partner with our founders to shape our technical strategy, participate in hiring, and grow the company from its earliest stages.

• Proven experience building and scaling web-based products through various stages of growth.
• Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, specifically with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• A strong appetite for the startup environment and the ability to maintain progress regardless of the circumstances.
• Fluency in English and a willingness to learn new technologies quickly to get the job done.
