We are searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the Netherlands. Our company is an international family-owned business that specializes in developing cutting-edge silver sintering and molding machines. We serve a diverse range of clients in sectors such as automotive, medical equipment, and power devices. In this role, you will work within our engineering department to innovate and improve the software that powers our advanced packaging systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and release, while ensuring all work is thoroughly documented.
- Provide ongoing technical support to production teams and maintain comprehensive software documentation for our systems.
- Execute our Continuous Improvement Program to enhance both existing models and new product developments.
Requirements
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience working with C, C++, or Java.
- Practical experience with real-time software development.
- Strong conceptual skills for collaborating on complex, interdisciplinary automation projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in German considered a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with motor technologies, such as servos, steppers, and solenoids, is preferred.
