We are Bold, a platform dedicated to healthy aging by providing personalized, evidence-based exercise programs for Medicare members. Our work helps prevent falls, reduces pain, and encourages active lifestyles, all while being supported by top-tier investors like Andreessen Horowitz and Khosla Ventures. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this hybrid role, you will help us build the web and mobile features necessary to engage our members and expand our impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web and mobile features that drive meaningful engagement with our members.
- Partner with our Product and Engineering teams to launch high-impact initiatives, focusing on personalization for our consumer programs.
- Contribute to platform improvements that enhance scalability and reliability while keeping the needs of our older adult demographic at the forefront of your work.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience in building modern web applications.
- Proficiency with Node, JavaScript (ES6+), and React.
- A growth mindset with previous exposure to building consumer-facing products.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical decisions to stakeholders and provide constructive feedback.
- A deep sense of empathy for our members, with a desire to understand their unique challenges and incorporate those insights into our development roadmap.
What we offer
