The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this role, you will be the bridge between our technology and our customers, focusing on building scalable data connectors and ETL pipelines. You will guide our key accounts through the onboarding process and beyond, ensuring their data integrates seamlessly with our systems. This position is unique because it allows you to work directly with customers to understand their data architecture while collaborating internally to refine our ingestion capabilities and security standards.

A day in the life

• You will collaborate directly with our customers to integrate unitQ into their existing workflows, acting as their primary technical point of contact.
• You will work closely with our Engineering and Operations teams to build, maintain, and scale the data connectors and ETL pipelines that power our AI platform.
• You will develop production backend services and implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the reliability of our data ingestion processes.

Who you are

You have at least three years of professional programming experience, ideally working with high-volume data environments. You are comfortable working in English and possess the following skills:

• Proficiency in automating processes and implementing APIs using Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• A deep curiosity about data architecture and a knack for suggesting creative, effective solutions for complex technical challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to external engineering teams.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience, along with familiarity with cloud environments like AWS or GCP.
