We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Berlin on a full-time basis. At Nelly, we are transforming the medical industry by replacing outdated paper processes with efficient digital solutions for patient check-ins, document management, and billing. Our mission is to allow medical practitioners to focus on patient care instead of administrative burdens. Backed by prominent investors like Lakestar and GFC, we are growing rapidly and looking for someone to help us build the future of medical practice management.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust connections between various practice management systems and our internal backend infrastructure.
Utilize Rust to build high-performance applications, leveraging AWS and infrastructure as code to ensure seamless system integration.
Collaborate with a highly skilled engineering team to define and improve our technical architecture while seeing your own ideas move from concept to implementation.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
Strong proficiency in Rust and experience with data and API modeling.
A deep understanding of the full software development life cycle and engineering best practices.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work autonomously and solve complex problems.
Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in German is considered a significant advantage.
Experience with AWS, security protocols, and Windows Native APIs is highly valued.
