What you bring

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join us on a Full Time basis in a Hybrid capacity. In this role you will design, develop, and maintain the software that keeps our high-throughput laboratory running smoothly. Your work will focus on Research, Engineering, C#, .NET, SQL, Database Design, Entity Framework, AWS, DevOps, Automated Testing, and Data Management. Three key responsibilities include leading projects that expand our Laboratory Information Management System, collaborating on SQL database architecture and stored procedures, and building data-management tools that streamline lab workflows. The position is located in the United States.

Requirements

You bring at least five years of professional software-development experience, deep expertise in C#, Visual Basic .NET, and WinForms, and strong proficiency with SQL, database design, and preferably Entity Framework. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with proven leadership, mentoring ability, and the adaptability to modernize legacy systems while maintaining production stability. Familiarity with AWS and DevOps practices is a plus. We value clear communication, a collaborative mindset, and an eagerness to engage directly with biologists, automation engineers, and project managers. English fluency is essential.
