Software Engineer at Rex

We are looking for a talented Lead Software Engineer to join our team at Rex Tech. We have built several successful startups within the real estate sector, and we currently manage over 2 billion dollars in assets across more than 13,000 homes. What you'll be doing

• You will architect, design, and maintain secure, high-quality web applications while ensuring our systems remain scalable and performant.
• You will take full ownership of product development, which involves hands-on coding and driving the product roadmap in collaboration with our leadership team.
• You will create and manage comprehensive technical documentation, including diagrams for our APIs, infrastructure, and overall codebase.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience, ideally as an early engineering hire at a startup. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in an autonomous environment and possesses the following qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, React Native, and AWS.
• Deep experience with microservices architecture and modular development practices.
• A customer-centric mindset with the ability to deliver impactful solutions to real-world problems.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with daily stand-ups.
• Fluency in English.
• A high level of comfort with a fail-fast mentality, where you iterate quickly to refine your code and systems.
