The opportunity

As a Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in building the tools and services necessary to scale our business. You will work closely with our product and management teams to execute an engineering strategy built on three key pillars: customer experience, internal processes, and data. We have successfully migrated our architecture to a TypeScript and React frontend paired with a Python backend. As we look ahead, you will help us develop a data-centric strategy to expand our product capabilities and enhance our data warehouse, ensuring we meet our ambitious growth targets.

A day in the life

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust software solutions that support our core business objectives.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code across our full-stack architecture, ensuring our internal tools and customer-facing services are efficient and scalable.
• Contribute to our data-centric initiatives by building and refining ETL processes that allow us to leverage fleet data for better decision-making.

Who you are

You are a mid-level engineer with at least four years of full-time experience. You have a strong foundation in Python, though we are happy to consider talented engineers who are eager to learn and grow within our stack. You possess a full-stack mindset and are comfortable stepping outside your core projects to support different areas of the business when needed. Beyond your technical skills, you are a critical thinker who approaches problems with empathy and a customer-first attitude. You communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and bring a tenacious, results-driven approach to everything you do. Proficiency in English is required for this on-site role in Australia.
