At Cardiologs, our mission is to make expert cardiac care accessible to everyone through the power of medical-grade artificial intelligence and cloud technology. Our flagship Holter platform has become a standard in the industry, helping clinicians diagnose over 1.8 million patients every single year. We are now expanding our reach into remote patient monitoring, allowing individuals to share smartwatch data directly with their doctors to streamline the review process. Since becoming part of Philips in 2021, we have continued to grow our impact while maintaining the innovative, results-driven spirit that defines our team. We believe in working hard while keeping a sense of humor, which is why we regularly host all-hands meetings and team gatherings to celebrate our shared achievements.
The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our full-time team in France. You will play a vital role in our engineering department, focusing on enhancing the user experience of our web platform. By collaborating closely with physicians, product designers, and IT specialists, you will help us build reliable tools that make a tangible difference in healthcare settings. This is a unique chance to work on a product that directly improves patient outcomes while utilizing modern web architectures.
A day in the life
- You will refine and optimize user workflows on our web platform, which is built using Angular and Ruby on Rails.
- You will participate in the full development lifecycle, from designing new product features to ensuring the overall reliability of our internal tools.
- You will engage in cross-functional collaboration with medical professionals and designers to ensure our software meets the high standards required for cardiac care.
Who you are
You are an enthusiastic and autonomous engineer with a creative, can-do mindset. You have at least 3 years of experience in software engineering and a deep understanding of modern web architectures, standard algorithms, and data structures. To succeed in this role, you should have practical experience with at least two of the following: Angular, TypeScript, React, Redux, D3, WebGL, Ruby on Rails, or SQL. You are fluent in English, and while not required, having some knowledge of French is considered a plus. We value individuals who embrace ambiguity and bring a talk-less-do-more attitude to the table.
Why you'll love it here
We foster a respectful and collaborative environment where your contributions are truly valued. We are located in beautiful offices in the heart of Paris, and we offer a hybrid work policy that allows you to work from home 2 to 3 days per week. In addition to a supportive culture, our benefits include:
- Lunch vouchers to enjoy during your workday.
- Participation and profit-sharing programs.
- Access to our works council benefits after 6 months of seniority.
- A dedicated remote work allowance.
