When 360Learning first began, our R&D department was a small, tight-knit group of ten developers working on a single codebase. With our collaborative learning platform, we help 1,700 organizations accelerate training and development. Our engineering team is at the heart of this mission, tackling complex technical challenges to support our 2.3 million registered users and managing significant data volumes while maintaining a focus on clean architecture.
The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our remote-first team. In this role, you will be a strategic player in our growth, working within a squad to innovate and maintain our platform. You will have the chance to work with a modern technical stack, including MongoDB, Node.js, and Vue.js, as we continue our migration to TypeScript. We value a culture of knowledge sharing and peer review, ensuring that you have the support needed to grow your skills while making a tangible impact on our product and our users.
A day in the life
- You will collaborate within your product squad to innovate on new features while maintaining the quality and performance of our existing codebase.
- You will participate in our decentralized peer review process, providing and receiving qualitative feedback to uphold our high technical standards.
- You will engage in pair programming and cross-functional work to solve complex architectural challenges that impact our entire platform.
Who you are
You are an experienced full stack engineer who thrives in an Agile environment. You have a passion for building elegant, intuitive interfaces and are comfortable working with algorithms. You possess a product-oriented mindset, meaning you care deeply about the customer experience and the impact of the code you write. You are a strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with others, and you are fluent in English. While you do not need to be an expert in our specific JavaScript technologies, you are eager to learn and grow within our stack.
