Role at a glance
This is a full-time position for an experienced Senior Software Engineer. You will work in a fully remote capacity from anywhere, reporting directly to our Director of Software Engineering to lead the development, planning, and deployment of complex software systems.
Your impact
- Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from initial architecture and design to final deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, define project requirements, and deliver efficient, secure software solutions.
- Drive quality across our codebase by performing thorough code reviews, troubleshooting complex issues, and mentoring the team on best practices.
What you'll need
We are looking for a proactive problem solver who communicates clearly in English. You should have a solid foundation in software development principles and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 4 years of experience working with MySQL and database technologies.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, covering both object-oriented and functional programming paradigms.
- Solid web development skills using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Git for version control.
- A sharp analytical mind with a passion for staying current with industry trends.
