Software Engineer at Dock

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join Dock, a collaborative workspace platform that helps companies manage the full customer journey from sales to success. Dock enables teams to share sales content, onboard customers, and maintain ongoing relationships through customizable workspaces that combine project plans with embedded multimedia. Our distributed team works with customers primarily across North America, and we are backed by recent seed funding covered in TechCrunch and Forbes.

Key outcomes

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using React, Node.js, and GraphQL to deliver production-ready features.
• Build intuitive user interfaces that reflect strong UX patterns and meet the needs of sales, customer success, and agency teams.
• Collaborate directly with the CTO and tech lead to navigate technical decisions and ship complex functionality.
• Participate in weekly check-ins while working independently for the majority of the week, providing and receiving feedback on projects.
• Communicate primarily through asynchronous channels such as Linear, Slack, Figma, email, Zoom, and GitHub.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience developing applications with React and Node.js.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of UX patterns and the ability to translate them into clean, functional interfaces.
• Demonstrated experience building and shipping production-ready code.
• Proficiency in GraphQL for data querying and API development.
• Fluency in English for effective written and verbal communication.
• Availability for meetings and discussions between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time.

Compensation

The position offers an annual salary between $40,000 and $60,000 along with equity participation. Remote work arrangements are supported for team members located in India or working from any location.
