Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in the United States, where you will help us reimagine computing from the ground up alongside a group of talented designers and developers.

Your impact

• Design and ship core features: You will own the specification, implementation, and maintenance of critical infrastructure and product features across our entire stack.
• Collaborate and learn: You will work closely with your peers to exchange feedback, share expertise, and continuously improve our collective output.
• Take ownership: We foster a high-trust environment where you are encouraged to identify the most important problems to solve and drive those initiatives to completion.

What you'll need

We value people over rigid requirements, but you should have a strong technical foundation and a collaborative spirit. Ideal candidates will bring the following:

• A degree in Computer Science or at least 4 years of professional experience shipping high-quality, well-tested production code.
• Proficiency in our core stack of Node, React, Redux, and JavaScript, or the ability to quickly master these if you are an expert in another general-purpose language.
• Strong written communication skills and a design-minded approach to creating elegant, intuitive APIs and system abstractions.
• A product-focused mindset that keeps user experience and business goals at the forefront of every technical decision.
• Bonus points for experience with Linux, AWS, Google Cloud, Kafka, or systems programming languages like Go.
