Responsibilities

Develop the Socket web application from end to end.
Collaborate with our design team to create interfaces that simplify complex tasks and provide a delightful user experience.
Build and maintain APIs to manage data from various sources.
Extract and transform data from third-party APIs.
Influence our product roadmap and sprint planning to ensure we remain agile and responsive to user feedback.
Participate actively in hiring, including conducting interviews and contributing to team growth strategies.
Establish foundational engineering frameworks and design systems to help us scale efficiently.

Must-haves

Proven experience working in early-stage, zero-to-one environments.
Strong background in designing and implementing production-grade web applications.
Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
Experience building and integrating APIs and working with relational databases such as Postgres.
A flexible mindset that allows you to learn new technologies quickly rather than being tied to a specific stack.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

Experience working with GraphQL.
Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
Background in managing data pipelines or working with headless browsers.
