Responsibilities
- Develop the Socket web application from end to end.
- Collaborate with our design team to create interfaces that simplify complex tasks and provide a delightful user experience.
- Build and maintain APIs to manage data from various sources.
- Extract and transform data from third-party APIs.
- Influence our product roadmap and sprint planning to ensure we remain agile and responsive to user feedback.
- Participate actively in hiring, including conducting interviews and contributing to team growth strategies.
- Establish foundational engineering frameworks and design systems to help us scale efficiently.
Must-haves
- Proven experience working in early-stage, zero-to-one environments.
- Strong background in designing and implementing production-grade web applications.
- Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
- Experience building and integrating APIs and working with relational databases such as Postgres.
- A flexible mindset that allows you to learn new technologies quickly rather than being tied to a specific stack.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with GraphQL.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
- Background in managing data pipelines or working with headless browsers.
