The opportunity

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in our product ecosystem. This is a full-time, remote position that invites you to tackle complex challenges at scale. A day in the life

• You will write and maintain high-quality code, primarily using PHP and JavaScript, to ensure our platforms remain fast, scalable, and fault-tolerant.
• You will collaborate with a global team to conduct code reviews, discuss architectural designs, and refine our development processes.
• You will engage in testing and performance optimization, ensuring that our software meets the high standards our users expect while contributing to our open source projects.

Who you are

We are looking for someone who is passionate about software development and enjoys solving problems in a large-scale system. You should be comfortable working in a remote, asynchronous environment and be willing to travel a few weeks per year to meet your teammates in person. Your background should include:

• Proven experience in systems architecture and production-level software development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and JavaScript, or the ability to pick them up quickly.
• A deep understanding of design patterns, testability, and performance testing.
• Excellent collaborative skills and a genuine interest in mentoring others or contributing to architectural discussions.
