The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us scale our cloud platform. As a key member of our growing engineering team, you will focus on the design and implementation of our caching services. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in the world of distributed systems and storage, and who wants to see their code make a tangible impact on a product that is rapidly gaining traction. You will play a vital role in shaping our architecture and ensuring our platform remains robust, scalable, and ready for a global user base.

A day in the life

• You will design and build critical components of our cloud platform, ensuring that our infrastructure is both performant and highly reliable.
• You will collaborate cross-functionally to translate complex customer needs into elegant, production-ready code while maintaining high standards for quality.
• You will act as a technical leader by mentoring teammates, contributing to architectural discussions, and evangelizing our engineering systems through blogs and internal knowledge sharing.

Who you are

You are an experienced engineer with a strong background in backend development and a passion for solving difficult problems in distributed systems. We value candidates who bring a mix of technical depth and collaborative spirit to our remote environment.

• You have at least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• You are proficient in Python and have extensive experience working with AWS.
• You possess a solid understanding of database systems, distributed systems, and service-oriented architectures.
• You have experience building cloud-native solutions, and exposure to machine learning or LLM-based services is a plus.
• You communicate clearly in English and enjoy influencing engineering processes through both speech and writing.
• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
