The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our collaborative engineering team. In this role, you will be a key part of our Research and Development efforts, working closely with our product and data teams to revolutionize our industry. We operate with a zero-bug attitude and believe in collective ownership, meaning you will have a significant impact on our product strategy and system architecture. You will work in a high-trust environment where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and self-organized cross-functional teams are the norm.

A day in the life

• You will take full ownership of product features from the initial ideation phase through to automated testing, implementation, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
• You will practice our you build it, you run it philosophy by managing the infrastructure across multiple deployment environments.
• You will actively improve our code standards, focusing on maintainability, developer experience, data privacy, security, and the overall resilience of our systems.

Who you are

You are an experienced engineer who thrives in environments that value automated testing and distributed systems. You have a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals and are comfortable working with a modern tech stack that includes Go, AWS Serverless, Event Sourcing, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Postgres, Terraform, and Datadog. Because we work as a global team, you possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, allowing you to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues. You are passionate about building scalable, resilient applications and enjoy working in a collaborative setting that utilizes pair programming and continuous deployment.
