The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us evolve our backend infrastructure. You will play a vital role in designing and maintaining the systems that drive our healthcare management platforms. This is a full-time, remote position that offers you the chance to work on complex technical challenges while contributing to a product that helps healthcare organizations operate more effectively. You will be an essential part of our engineering group, helping us scale our services and maintain the high standards our clients expect.
A day in the life
- You will design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems while ensuring our applications are optimized for both speed and scalability.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional team members to define new features and translate technical requirements into clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- You will troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring the technical feasibility of our designs and keeping our systems running smoothly.
Who you are
You are a seasoned developer with a deep background in backend engineering. We are looking for someone who brings the following expertise to our team:
- At least 5 years of professional experience working with Java.
- A strong command of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Practical experience working with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries.
- Proficiency in using Git for version control.
- Excellent communication skills in English, allowing you to work effectively within our remote, collaborative environment.
- Bonus points if you have experience with healthcare protocols like HL7 or X12, or if you have worked with cloud services like AWS.
