The opportunity

As a Software Engineer focused on UI and Frontend development, you will be a vital member of our Flex engineering team. This role is about more than just writing code. You will help us establish a center of excellence in our Bengaluru office, designing and operating microservices within a cloud-based environment. You will have a direct impact on our product roadmap, proposing innovative solutions that help us deliver exceptional experiences to our customers. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our platform remains secure, scalable, and reliable.

A day in the life

• You will design, build, and deploy new features for the Flex platform using modern technologies like React, Angular, and Java within an AWS cloud environment.
• You will act as an owner of your services, which includes managing the full lifecycle of your code, participating in on-call rotations, and resolving production issues to maintain high performance.
• You will engage in daily agile ceremonies, such as code reviews and backlog grooming, while collaborating with product leadership to refine our technical strategy and reduce technical debt.

Who you are

You are a mid-level engineer who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments. You have a strong foundation in computer science and a passion for building high-quality software. Your background includes:

• Five to eight years of experience developing enterprise-grade, cloud-native web applications using JavaScript, HTML, React, and Angular.
• Deep familiarity with micro frontend architectures, browser APIs, and performance optimization.
• Proven ability to work with distributed systems, container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills in English, allowing you to articulate complex technical ideas clearly to your team.
• A proactive mindset, with a desire to learn new technologies and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence.
