Software Engineer, Product at Haus

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. At Haus, we have built the first decision science platform designed for a privacy-focused digital landscape. By utilizing advanced econometric models and causal inference, we help brands measure the impact of their marketing and pricing strategies. Our team, which includes veterans from companies like Google, Netflix, and Meta, is dedicated to making high-quality incrementality testing accessible to everyone. Responsibilities

• Design and maintain robust APIs that provide our customers with actionable insights.
• Create and refine intuitive user experiences that interact seamlessly with our backend systems.
• Take full ownership of the features you build, from initial design through to monitoring their performance in the wild.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in engineering and a passion for building world-class products. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience developing web applications and APIs.
• Deep proficiency in React for frontend development and at least one object-oriented language such as Python, TypeScript, Scala, Golang, or Java.
• Solid experience working with SQL databases and managing data workloads within a cloud environment.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role, with a genuine interest in mentoring junior engineers.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to writing clean, well-documented code.
