The opportunity

As a Software Engineer on our product team, you will sit at the intersection of complex technical engineering and user-focused design. Your work will directly influence the long-term quality of our platform as we support a diverse customer base, ranging from nimble startups to Fortune 10 enterprises. You will be responsible for building reliable, scalable products that navigate the ever-changing landscape of global compliance requirements. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, where we gather in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with the flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. We are happy to provide relocation support for those moving to the Bay Area.

A day in the life

• Design and ship foundational components of our identity platform while balancing technical complexity with product value.
• Collaborate directly with our customers to build features that solve real-world problems and help them combat fraud.
• Manage technical challenges across a wide spectrum of scale, from helping a new business automate manual tasks to supporting enterprise clients during high-traffic events.

While we value a variety of backgrounds, the following experience is particularly helpful:

• At least 2 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Familiarity with our core technology stack, which includes React, Ruby on Rails, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Fluency in English.

The estimated base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $220,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
