OnePay is on a mission to help people achieve financial progress through our consumer financial services app. Backed by Walmart and Ribbit Capital, we provide millions of customers with accessible banking, credit, and payment solutions. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our remote team and help us build the systems that empower our users to save, spend, and grow their wealth.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new product features and robust APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to ship high-quality code.
- Architect scalable and reliable systems to handle complex, real-world financial data.
- Maintain clear documentation to support our growing remote organization.
- Solve challenging technical problems related to financial mechanics and large-scale money movement.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional experience in product-facing backend development.
- A proven track record of delivering impactful features and products.
- Extensive experience building, maintaining, and optimizing APIs.
- A proactive, builder-focused mindset.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with our current technology stack, which includes Node, TypeScript, NestJS, Kubernetes, AWS, and React Native.
