Software Engineer: Network at Noyo

We are a rapidly growing company backed by top Silicon Valley investors, and we are looking for creative, ambitious individuals to join our mission. While we operate as a distributed team across the United States, we maintain an office in San Francisco and prefer candidates in the Bay Area who value in-person collaboration and are willing to work from the office a few days each week.

Key outcomes

• Architect and execute insurance carrier integrations, ensuring our solutions are delivered with both high quality and speed.
• Build core product features by focusing on solving complex problems rather than just implementing predefined solutions.
• Enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems to support our ongoing business growth.
• Collaborate with fellow engineers on technical design, programming, and code reviews from the initial ideation phase through to launch.
• Partner with our product and operations teams to gather requirements, validate system designs, and provide ongoing technical support.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of full-time professional experience in software engineering.
• A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience building modern web applications within a product-driven environment.
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment that utilizes Continuous Integration, logging, and monitoring practices.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Preferred qualifications

• While we use Python, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Google Cloud Platform, we welcome candidates with experience in similar modern technology stacks.
• Prior experience in the benefits or healthcare industry is not required.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is $140,000 to $161,000. We are committed to pay equity and transparency, and we take a location-agnostic approach to compensation. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive total rewards program that includes equity and professional development opportunities. This role also features a hybrid work arrangement.
