Software Engineer, Mobile Native AR Mapping at 8th Wall

What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is based in the United States and requires you to be in the office at least two days per week. You will be instrumental in developing mobile applications that enable users to map the world collaboratively. Your core responsibilities include:

• Designing and building mobile client applications while contributing to both frontend and backend development.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to maintain high internal standards.
• Actively participating in team meetings and fostering strong working relationships across the organization.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. We are looking for someone with at least three years of professional software development experience, including two years focused on mobile client development. You should be proficient in at least one of the following technologies: Flutter, Swift, Java, Kotlin, or C++. We value candidates who are adaptable, thrive in fast-paced environments, and possess the drive to learn new technologies quickly. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be working frequently with cross-functional teams in a hybrid setting. A background or interest in augmented reality and computer graphics is considered a significant plus.

What we offer

We provide a competitive total compensation package, with a base salary range of $158,400.00 to $176,000.00. In addition to your salary, we offer the following benefits to support our team members:
