About the Role
We are hiring a Software Engineer, ML Engineering / MLOps on a full-time basis. In this entry-level position you will help design, build, and maintain the infrastructure that lets our data scientists move quickly from idea to production model, directly supporting products that improve heart health for patients around the globe.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and maintain scalable systems for training, testing, and deploying machine-learning models.
- Build and improve internal tools and pipelines that accelerate ML experimentation and ensure reliable, repeatable releases.
- Monitor cloud-based ML workloads, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to projects that enhance the performance and safety of our cardiac-analysis platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, completed by your start date.
- Solid grounding in software-engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Python or C++.
- Familiarity with core machine-learning concepts and at least one framework such as PyTorch or scikit-learn.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software-design principles.
- Hands-on experience with Git for version control and basic knowledge of Docker or similar container technologies.
- Coursework, projects, or internships demonstrating practical work in machine learning, data analysis, or data engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
Location
This role is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a base-salary range of $89,000 to $129,050 (outside the San Francisco Bay Area) or $100,000 to $145,000 (within the San Francisco Bay Area), along with cash bonus and stock options. Additional benefits include the flexibility of remote work.
