The opportunity
We are looking for a Software Engineer Level II to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our technical success, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of high-performance applications. You will work within our AWS-heavy environment to build scalable services that support our growing user base, ensuring our product remains reliable and efficient as we scale.
A day in the life
- You will design and build robust applications using JavaScript, NodeJS, and React to deliver a seamless experience for our users.
- You will implement and optimize serverless architectures using AWS services like DynamoDB, Lambda, EC2, and API Gateway.
- You will collaborate with your teammates to troubleshoot complex technical issues and integrate RESTful APIs into our backend systems.
Who you are
You are a developer with 1 to 2 years of professional experience who thrives in the fast-moving environment of a SaaS startup. You communicate clearly in English and enjoy working alongside others to solve difficult problems. Your technical toolkit includes:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, NodeJS, and React.
- Hands-on experience with AWS technologies, specifically DynamoDB, Lambda, EC2, and API Gateway.
- A solid understanding of serverless architecture and best practices for building scalable APIs.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining high standards for code quality and performance.
