About the Role

This is a full-time position for a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our software systems. You will oversee the design, development, and testing of operating systems and network distribution software while ensuring that our infrastructure remains secure and efficient. You will play a pivotal role in guiding our technical strategy and supporting the growth of your fellow team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the development of database systems by approving project scopes, estimating timelines, and managing the modification of existing data structures.
• Plan and execute comprehensive security measures to protect our computer files and sensitive information from unauthorized access or accidental damage.
• Establish clear standards and guidelines for software acquisition and usage to ensure our systems remain protected and perform at a high level.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in software engineering and a commitment to technical excellence. We require the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, functional specification, and delivery.
• Proficiency in SQL and other relevant development software.
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A proven ability to mentor staff and provide constructive feedback.
• The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively in a remote environment.
