Software Engineer, iOS at Sunshine

The role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our iOS team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This is a unique opportunity to serve as an early team member where you will have the freedom to prototype end-to-end applications with minimal formal direction. Core responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end application prototyping and development with a high degree of autonomy.
• Collaborate closely with the team to define product specifications through innovation and improvisation.
• Contribute to high-level technical and product strategy by thinking critically about the tools we build and the problems we solve.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong technical foundation and a passion for the consumer space. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• A BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 4 years of relevant, full-time experience in iOS development.
• A solid grasp of object-oriented programming, along with familiarity with various architectural and design patterns.
• A proven ability to work through ambiguity and a willingness to engage in hands-on development from your first day.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• The ability to think critically about product direction and help shape our technical strategy.
