We are SoloPulse Corp, a venture-backed startup based in Atlanta, Georgia, that is pushing the boundaries of radar sensing technology. Our team is dedicated to exploring the frontiers of wave theory and special relativity to deliver industry-leading resolution and latency. We work closely with partners to solve essential safety and autonomy challenges in both the civilian and military sectors. As a Software Engineer Intern or Co-op, you will join a group of experienced engineers and startup veterans who are passionate about changing how the world sees. What you'll be doing
- You will design, build, test, and deploy software solutions while working with a diverse set of programming languages and modern technologies.
- You will take responsibility for implementing and maintaining the frontend and backend components of our applications.
- You will develop and optimize complex algorithms, including engineering low-latency solutions for our proprietary computational operations.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should be currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative field at an accredited university. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language, such as Python, C++, or JavaScript.
- A solid understanding of software architecture, design paradigms, and modern development practices for both frontend and backend systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team or autonomously on your own projects.
- Bonus points if you have a portfolio of personal projects or experience with GPU-accelerated libraries like PyTorch and OpenGL.
