What you bring

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will join us on a full-time basis to work on high-priority projects that support our cloud-native platform. This role is based in the United States, specifically with a preference for the SF Bay Area. You will be an integral part of our engineering department, utilizing a tech stack that includes Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, React, Vue.js, AWS, GCP, and PostgreSQL. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and building scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines to support our utility-facing applications.
• Contributing to full-stack development by creating performant and intuitive user interfaces.
• Supporting the development of machine learning infrastructure and data platforms that enable intelligent decision-making for our partners.

Requirements

We are looking for students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or later. You should have demonstrated software engineering experience gained through internships, personal projects, or academic work. Proficiency in languages such as Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java is essential. We value candidates who are eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment. While not strictly required, familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js, as well as experience with cloud infrastructure like AWS or GCP and database systems like PostgreSQL, will be highly beneficial. A genuine passion for climate tech and clean energy is the hallmark of our ideal candidate.

What we offer

We are committed to providing a rewarding experience for our interns. The expected compensation for this position ranges from 52000 to 83000 USD per year.
