• Guide junior engineers and designers to ensure we deliver high-quality, stakeholder-focused experiences.
• Champion technical craftsmanship by prioritizing robust testing, thorough code reviews, clear documentation, and system scalability.
• Take ownership of significant design decisions, carefully balancing the need for speed with the management of technical debt.
• Translate complex requirements into actionable tasks and assist in the creation of accurate project roadmaps.
• Build iterative solutions that support our broader product goals.
• Actively participate in the growth of our engineering department through mentorship, recruiting, and conducting interviews.

• Define clear team objectives and lead your colleagues in achieving them.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, TypeScript, Babel, and Node, or equivalent experience with a functional programming stack.
• A broad background working with various programming languages, technical stacks, and development paradigms.
• The ability to work effectively across departments and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
• A deep understanding of software design patterns and complex algorithms.
• Proven experience architecting and implementing non-trivial solutions for large-scale platforms.
• The versatility to contribute across the entire web development stack.
• A curious, self-motivated mindset and an empathetic approach to problem-solving.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience in product or project management.
• Practical experience working with Clojure.
• Background in machine learning or data science.
• Previous experience thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.
