About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer III to join our Orchestration team. This is a full-time, senior-level position where you will help build the engine responsible for intelligent, seamless, and reliable payment processing. You will own the full orchestration layer, including routing decisions, fallback logic, and the infrastructure that ensures every payment performs at its best.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of backend features from initial scoping through to production, ensuring the team stays informed on progress and potential blockers.
- Design and deliver robust services that handle significant payment volume, prioritizing reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with the team on architecture discussions, advocate for maintainable system design, and contribute to our engineering standards through rigorous code reviews.
Requirements
We are looking for a seasoned engineer who can navigate ambiguity and deliver production-ready software with minimal oversight. You should have a strong grasp of distributed systems fundamentals and experience building services that are observable and easy to reason about. Proficiency with REST APIs is essential. While experience in fintech or payments infrastructure is a bonus, we prioritize deep engineering expertise and the ability to think critically about monitoring, deployment, and long-term system health.
