What is this role?
We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This is a mid-level position designed for someone who is ready to take the next step in their career by helping us build the future of autonomous trucking.
What will you do?
- Develop and improve our data recording solutions to help validate our virtual driver technology.
- Manage and deploy software images to our autonomous trucks, ensuring the operating systems on our vehicles are always up to date.
- Collaborate closely with a talented team of engineers to solve complex technical challenges.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should be eager to learn and highly adaptable to new tasks. We are looking for someone who meets the following requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Math with at least four years of professional experience, or a Master's degree with at least one year of experience.
- One to two years of professional experience working with C and C++.
- Strong proficiency in the Linux operating system and experience using Git.
- Fluency in English.
Bonus points if you have experience with networks, embedded systems, distributed systems, or distributed data recording.
