Role at a glance
We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our engineering team. This is a full-time, mid-level position that is fully remote for candidates based in North America. While you will work from home, you should be prepared to travel to our offices in Nashville, TN or Rocklin, CA at least twice a year.
Your impact
- Build and maintain the next generation of our products, including APIs, services, and backend systems.
- Take full ownership of your work by testing, releasing, and monitoring your code to ensure high standards of reliability.
- Collaborate across product, sales, and operations teams to solve user pain points and improve our overall engineering processes.
What you'll need
We are looking for a self-starting engineer who is passionate about making a real difference in patient lives. You should be technically motivated and comfortable making pragmatic trade-offs to deliver value quickly.
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Proven expertise with Elixir, as this is central to our backend architecture.
- A willingness to work with Ruby on Rails as project needs arise.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate effectively with near-shore contractors.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is strongly preferred.
