The opportunity

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our growing engineering team. This is a pivotal role where you will focus on developing the core backend capabilities that define the Stavvy user experience. You will help us reimagine our platform workflows to create a more cohesive journey for our customers and build out a new message-driven service for platform notifications and observability. While this position is remote, we are looking for someone based in the Dallas, TX area who can align with our operations in the Central Time Zone.

A day in the life

• You will write production-ready C# code to build and refine backend components, ensuring our platform remains responsive and high-performing.
• You will collaborate closely with our product, design, and development teams to translate complex requirements into elegant, scalable features.
• You will actively participate in our Agile development process, which includes performing code reviews, attending stand-up meetings, and mentoring fellow engineers to help the entire team grow.

Who you are

You are a creative and self-driven engineer with at least 5 years of professional experience. You enjoy the challenge of building backend systems for web applications that are designed to scale, and you bring a collaborative spirit to every project. Your background includes:

• Strong proficiency in C# and SQL.
• Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Azure.
• A solid understanding of the Agile methodology.
• The ability to communicate effectively in English.
• A passion for sophisticated design and solving complex technical problems in a fast-paced environment.
