At Affirm, we are dedicated to reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly for everyone. We believe the traditional credit card model is broken, often trapping households in cycles of debt through hidden fees and compounding interest. Our mission is to build transparent, flexible, and fair financial products that genuinely improve lives. As a remote-first organization, we empower our team members to do their best work from anywhere in the United States.
Our Checkout Experience Engineering team is at the heart of our growth, as eighty percent of our volume is generated when users choose Affirm at a merchant’s point of sale. We are seeking a Software Engineer II to join this team, where you will help us optimize our existing checkout product and build innovative new capabilities. We are a full-stack team that cares deeply about every pixel, animation, and accessibility detail, while remaining equally committed to robust backend performance, idempotency, and asynchronous data handling.
