Software Engineer I at Klaviyo Campus

We are looking for a Software Engineer I to join our team, where you will build scalable, high-performance systems while learning from experienced mentors in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of your code, including writing, testing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining services in production.
• Build and ship features that align with team goals while sharpening your technical expertise.
• Gain hands-on experience debugging issues across both local and production environments.
• Contribute to documentation and support your team during incidents to learn from real-world challenges.
• Collaborate closely with teammates by sharing ideas, asking questions, and embracing feedback.
• Integrate AI into workflows to build smarter systems and improve efficiency from the ground up.

Must-haves

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Statistics, or a related field.
• Graduating in December 2025 or May/June 2026.
• Two previous high-impact internship or co-op roles involving production-level code.
• Proficiency or familiarity with technologies such as Python, Django, TypeScript, React, MySQL, Cassandra, Clickhouse, Kafka, Redis, and Amazon Web Services.
• Strong adaptability and a hunger to learn, including a willingness to experiment with AI tools.
• Ability to build effective cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively.
• Fluency in English.

Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges from $104,000 to $156,000 USD. In addition to base pay, our total compensation package may include:
