The role
We are seeking a Software Engineer I to join our Consumer Payments team. This is a full-time, mid-level position based in the United Kingdom. You will work in a remote capacity, contributing to our core payment processing infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional partners across the globe to drive our international expansion and financial performance.
Core responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and internal stakeholders to enhance and scale our existing payments platform.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the payments industry and the complex networks that power global transactions.
- Work closely with engineering colleagues and partners located throughout the United States and Europe to support feature development.
Skills and experience
We are looking for engineers who are eager to improve consumer financial services. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Up to 2 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
- Strong fluency in Python for backend development.
- A genuine drive to create positive change in the financial services sector.
- An interest in the payments industry is considered a plus.
- Proficiency in the English language.
Compensation and benefits
