The opportunity

We are expanding our product development and R&D team and are looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to help us push the boundaries of renewable energy technology. In this full-time, hybrid role based in Hong Kong, you will bridge the gap between our complex energy storage systems and the software that powers them. You will play a vital role in building solutions that are not only innovative but also essential to our goal of a silent, zero-emission future.

A day in the life

• You will collaborate closely with our firmware engineers and product managers to design and implement robust software solutions that integrate seamlessly with our energy storage systems.
• You will partner with designers and product leads to build and refine applications that empower our customers and internal teams to manage our equipment fleet effectively.
• You will take ownership of designing communication protocols and conducting rigorous testing to ensure the safety, performance, and reliability of the interactions between our software and firmware modules.

Who you are

You are a skilled professional with a background in Computer Science or Software Engineering who thrives on solving complex technical challenges. You communicate clearly in English and bring a collaborative spirit to everything you do. We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualifications:

• A solid foundation in RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Proficiency in using Git for version control.
• Experience in firmware development using C or C++ is considered a significant asset.
• Practical knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js or React, as well as TypeScript.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and experience working within Agile or Scrum environments.
