What is this role?
We are searching for a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, meaning you can work from anywhere. We operate in a fast-paced environment where we value quick iteration and pushing new code daily, so we need someone who is ready to jump in and contribute immediately.
What will you do?
- Collaborate closely with our CTO and fellow engineers to design and architect new product features.
- Develop and maintain our back-end dispatch applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Partner with our design team to enhance our mobile web applications and build engaging new user experiences.
What makes you a great fit?
We are looking for a versatile engineer who is comfortable working across the entire stack. You should have at least two years of experience building dynamic web applications and a strong background in agile development. We value your ability to pick up new technologies quickly. You will be a great match if you have experience with several of the following:
- Ruby on Rails and building RESTful APIs.
- Front-end development using HTML and JavaScript.
- Building mobile applications for iOS.
- Working with SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Strong system design skills and experience managing the performance of large-scale systems.
- Proficiency with standard development tools like git, Jira, and CI pipelines.
- Fluency in English.
