With over $45 billion in investable assets under management, we oversee the portfolios for Arch Capital and its various subsidiaries. As our organization continues to expand, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Risk and Quantitative team. You will play a vital role in building our internal AMI web interface, helping us deliver sophisticated tools that support our financial operations.
Key outcomes
- Design and build responsive, high-quality user interfaces for both web and mobile platforms.
- Perform user research and usability testing to ensure our design choices are backed by solid feedback.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and detailed mockups to clearly demonstrate design concepts.
- Manage and maintain UI components through the use of modern frontend frameworks and technologies.
- Produce clean, well-documented, and sustainable code.
- Improve application performance to ensure maximum speed and scalability.
- Identify and resolve technical issues through effective debugging across the full stack.
- Engage in regular code reviews to uphold our standards for quality and development best practices.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in Frontend Development. You should be comfortable with the entire design process, including UI Design, User Research, Wireframing, and Prototyping. Proficiency in Debugging and participating in Code Review processes is essential. You must be fluent in English to collaborate effectively with our team. This is a full-time, remote position available to candidates located anywhere.
