What is this role?

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our front-end team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site position based in downtown San Francisco. You will be a key part of an international, agile team where we value short decision paths and high-impact work. We provide the flexibility to use the devices and tools that help you perform your best, while our core stack includes GitHub, AWS, and Slack.

What will you do?

• Take the lead in developing our public-facing applications using React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and REST.
• Apply your deep front-end expertise to elevate our overall code quality, internal tools, and development processes.
• Collaborate closely with our backend team, which utilizes Ruby on Rails, to ensure seamless integration via GraphQL and REST, while partnering with our UI/UX designers to deliver a flawless user experience.

• At least 5 years of professional experience working with React and TypeScript.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A genuine passion for teamwork and a desire to support your colleagues.
• Experience working with backend frameworks like Ruby on Rails or Django is considered a significant plus.
