About the Role
We are seeking a Software Engineer, Data to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity. In this mid-level role, you will work within our Investment Analytics team to transform intricate financial data into creative, actionable workflows. You will be an end-to-end owner of your projects, working with a modern tech stack that includes React, Next.js, TypeScript, Python, Java, AWS Lambda, and Snowflake. We value modularity and scalability, and we look for engineers who are eager to experiment while bringing clarity to the world of private investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full accountability for project delivery by coordinating with stakeholders and teammates to meet agreed-upon timelines.
- Engage in every stage of the product development lifecycle, from initial specification and implementation to testing, deployment, and ongoing operations.
- Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture by participating in code reviews, documentation, and team discussions.
Requirements
- A 4-year technical degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in software development.
- Proven ability to build, scale, and maintain data warehouses and complex data pipelines.
- Proficiency with data pipeline orchestration tools and cloud computing architectures, specifically AWS.
- Experience with domain modeling for investment vehicles and interfacing with financial data providers.
- A strong background in or interest in investment management.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where you are comfortable navigating ambiguity.

This position is based in the United States.
Compensation and Benefits
